I was given The Pregnancy Secret for an honest review by Net Galley

Jessica’s husband walked out on her and in the year that he has been absent she has rebuilt her life as best she can. When she calls him to discuss divorce and ends up the victim of a robbery, he steps up to try and fix everything including the house they once shared. Now if Kade can just figure out that his relation with his wife is more important than his stupid pride he may actually be able to save something he values.

This is actually a very sweet story but really wasn’t my thing, it was to namby-pamby for my taste. I mean really, Kade had a wife willing to do everything she could but he couldn’t step up and fight the good fight by sitting down and asking her what was going on after all his pride was more important to him. Now granted her reason for doing what she was doing were jaded but still he should have been digging for the reasons and she should have actually talked with him. Now I realize this is a story but it was just … I think my problem is there just wasn’t the right kind of drama to keep me engaged in it.

Book Cover Rating
The cover is cute but nothing to write home about.
