Yeah, Justice North gets a mate; even though he tries to fight it for what he thinks is the good of his people. He thinks he should mate a New Species woman but he can’t stop thinking about Jesse and when she finally has enough of his antics he won’t let her go.
Jesse Dupree loves her job rescuing New Species females from the clutches of the evil jerks they were given and who cares is she got the job because her dad is a Congressman. After an invitation to a wedding at reservation leads to her being attacked and then rescued by Justice North she see her chance to share her ideas about the future recues of the female. Before they can really talk she is called back to work where a gunshot costs her the job she loves but plants her closer to Justice things can only get better can’t they.
Justice gives so much of himself to his people that I am excited that he gets to have love and happiness to. Although there were times I really thought he deserved getting kicked to the curb. And poor Jesse just could catch a break, at every turn her heart was being broken because he just couldn’t figure it out. They had some epic go rounds that usually seemed to happen after some seriously hot steamy, blow the roof off sex, so by the time they went the separate ways for the night you were sure if you needed a cold shower or a punching bag.
So now that I have raved about this book that yes I have read twice, hey what can I say, I love these books; but I still need to give this one a rating and after counting all the edits I found I am thankfully happy to announce that I am only subtracting one star from the rating due to edits. The Heating though was off the chart so five flames really aren’t enough to cover how hot things got between this couple.
