I was given A Normal Girl for an honest review by Angora Shade
Heat Factor
Giving the heat rating was hard because there was definitely sex but not what I am into so for heat or turn on factor I would have to say is pretty sad but for the fact there was actual sex I would say it’s more porn then erotic.
Firsts things first, Angora, I apologize for taking way longer than you expected and thank you for your understanding.
Virgin techno geek, Ryan, is shy and with his lack of experience with women he finds himself in a series of sexual encounters that leave him with experience that he probably wishes he could forget or not.
I got through about 55% (give or take) of A Normal Girl before I said enough is enough. Firstly, I want to say that I have ready several books about control and BDSM and in every single one there was a lot about safe consensual play. So where was that when Ryan was getting his ass spanked in the bakery by a crazy psycho bimbo bitch control freak. I didn’t see any discussions about what she was going to do or any thoughts to his feelings. Add to that I am so not into spanking guys. Secondly, we really have to discuss this cat costume fetish, I mean really and with an attached dildo, now don’t get me wrong I have no issue with a little (or a lot) of guy on guy action as it can be hot and I could see how a guy might like a little dildo action but the cat costume was really over the top and again not my thing. I know that some people are into this kind of sex and for them this will be a perfect book that they will rate pretty high but for myself it left me cold and unfulfilled in all categories so I am sorry for my ratings especially after making Angora wait so long for this review. The only really good thing I can say about this book was that I didn’t find any editing errors and the blurb pretty much describes the book.
Book Cover Rating
The cover is kind of boring and really doesn’t say much about the book.
Book Blurb Rating
Mostly matches the story
Book’s Blurb
Ryan, a geeky technology apprentice student, is on his way to losing his virginity. Shy by nature, his lack of experience with women has left him unfamiliar with ideas other than vanilla sex. In his search for his ideal girl, he seeks out those he deems normal, only to be faced with and turned off by various sexual kinks. Ryan comes to learn that normal is relative, and that he and his ideal girl are anything but vanilla.
