Samantha returns to her home town to give her two-year-old daughter a better life by raising her in the house she grew up in. But instead she comes home to a trailer park, because dear old drunk dad sold the house, and someone determined to make her life more complicated b making her look like an unfit mother and take her child.
Morgan Lawrence returned to his hometown looking to rebuild his life after losing his leg serving his country. He bought his high school sweet hearts old house and is renovating it. When she returns to town the sparks fly.
Unwanted Vows rather surprised me because the beginning was a slow stop and I had to put it down for a bit, but then, like always, my curiosity got the better of me and I tried it again. Unwanted Vows starts picking up about half way through the third chapter, the character are for the most part well developed so I was able to see them in my head and connect with them.
The editing wasn’t bad but should be mentions. In chapter ten Samantha was riding Mona but Beth Rhodes said at one point she was riding Beauty. Chapter fourteen had the quote I liked the best but it also needs some editing because there is a paragraph that really made scratch my head because it didn’t fit in the scheme of things.

After reading Unwanted Vows the blurb seems a bit misleading in that it implies major threats but the threat or danger level was in my opinion not as bad as implied.
