The Sheikh’s Sinful Seduction was given to me for an honest review by Net Galley
Sheikh Zafir won’t let his emotions rule his life except when it comes to his son. While on vacation at the oasis with his sisters family he sees his nieces English tutor and instantly wants her but she is painfully shy and clearly inexperienced then add to that he is fighting an uphill battle in his country because of his linage. But he can’t seem to stay away and when he asks for her help only to learn that her lack of experience with men is so profound that she doesn’t know how to deal with men.
Fern Davenport is so painfully shy from growing up with a mom who taught her that lust and sex were very bad. So when her friend and boss drags her on vacation where she meets her friends brother and she starts lusting after him she does whatever she can to avoid him but he makes her feel things and she cannot avoid him. When the vacation ends early she finds herself in the same position her mother was in but has very decidedly different feelings on the subject but when Zafir show up in London demanding she marry him she has no clue what she should do.
Dani Collins did a great job of not only making Fern’s emotions easily seen on her sleaze but you could almost feel the heat from her blushing come of the pages, and I really like her quiet strength and determination when it came to trying to help the poor young girl with appendicitis. I so wanted to kick Zafir in the shin for not manning up in the oasis or even after they left it. It took his brother-in-law giving him the ‘you are an ass-hat’ treatment to get his head out of his backside and chase the woman he really loves which was one of my favorite parts of The Sheikh’s Sinful Seduction.
I am so reading The Sheikh’s Sinful Seduction again and again, I just know it. I love how this story goes from sweet to hot and steamy and back again.
Book Cover Rating
I know The Sheikh’s Sinful Seduction is a Harlequin Book but and they can do as they wish of course but to be honest I would probably have passed over this book except that the title intrigued me. What I am say is that little itsy bitsy picture on the cover doesn’t do it for me and you can do better.
Book Blurb Rating
The blurb is nothing Earth shattering but it is properly vague except for the very last sentence which definitely tells you how it ends.
