I was given Play Me Wild by Net Galley for an honest review
Aria Winston is the daughter of a mafia family who has turned her back and her name so she can live as normal a life as possible in Vegas while her sister is still alive. Taking a job as a cocktail waitress to pay the rent and stay close to her sister while getting pawed and bruised really sucks but hey it’s a job. When she gets fired for doing the right thing the owners son steps in and says she isn’t fired so now the question is what does he want from her and no way is she giving it to him.
Sebastian Caine gave up a job he loves to come home and take care of his sick father’s casino. He isn’t there a week before some ass-hat tries molesting his female customer right there on the high-roller floor. And he has to deal with a wrongfully fired waitress that sends his body into over drive.
Wow, I didn’t think I would get that many words into the description given how short the first part is. And even thought I personally didn’t care much for the story line, Play Me Wild is a well written story. Chapters five had some typos but for editing complaints that can’t be too bad especially from someone who flips out when there are editing issues. I did expect some seriously steamy moments but was denied those but got the impression that the intent was there and it might turn out to be worth reading the rest of the series but alas I only requested the first and the last books and I have a feeling that books 2 through 3 will be the really meat and potatoes of this series.
