Beth Bradley catches CIA agent Alex Tanner breaking into her ex’s car and blackmails him into posing as her boyfriend. Then she sees her best friend’s uncle having a meeting with another person and now someone wants her dead and Alex has to keep her alive to find a traitor.
I did like the characters and there were some pretty interesting moments like when Beth’s family thought Alex was a man whore. I really felt for Beth but make up a boyfriend was definitely a Junior High move and really just snow balled from there on her. I think the best part of the entire story may have been the bedroom scenes and they were not that steamy but still the best part.
First I have to say please rename this book because The Wedding Trap does NOT fit the story line in anyway. Yeah there is a wedding party but it is a wedding for Beth’s best friend and there is no trap involved so it really just doesn’t suit the story line. And that now brings me to the second issue, after changing the name please edit because one or two mistakes no big deal even three or four can get you a three star rating but ten plus edits only bombs the story.
