Abducting Alice was given to me in exchange for an honest review by Manic Readers

While her sister can have practically any man she wants and flaunts every chance she gets, Alice is short and round and lonely. Her only passion is her career as a geologist and being her companies best kept secret because she makes them money.

When what looks like a meteor lands near her work site she excitedly rushes straight for it only to find out it is something different and she is about to get the ride of her life in the form of Kerr the hot alien that comes to her rescue and thinks she is perfect and his. What more could a woman possibly ask for? I mean we have a yummy possessive alien who is hot and sexy the only thing that I could think of that would be a good or better would be a shifter or a vampire but then again nothing on the planet could be better than my husband in the reality but the fantasy, yeah I could picture as the hot alien, yummy yum yum.

I just love how Alice had to teach Kerr about kissing and then of course there were the lessons on how to please her which had to have been a lot of fun, even for a virgin. The fact the Kerr was willing to listen and learn speaks to every woman’s wish that her man will listen to what she is saying about what turns her on in the bedroom. I do wish there had been more graphic bedroom scenes but other than that the book was fast paced and I was really sad when it came to end of the book now I have to consol myself with the fact that I will probably read it again someday.

I also noticed that this books have some vague similarities to another book I read by another author, they are clearly very different storylines but both involved captive human woman and aliens from other planets who were willing to learn and do whatever was needed to please the woman in question and those were the parts that were vaguely similar.

I actually have to admit that I have read parts of Abducting Alice before on a friend’s e-reader, but I couldn’t for the life of me remember the name of it and it wasn’t until I got into it that I realized what I was reading then I got super excited because I had been trying to find this title for a long time so I could read the whole thing. And now I want to read the whole series which means my ‘I want’ book list just got bigger.

Book’s Blurb
For someone who thinks rocks are more interesting than men, geologist Alice is proven how very wrong she is.

When a probe crashes to Earth near a dig site, Alice Clarkson thinks she has hit the jackpot of her gem collecting career finding a real life meteor to add to her collection. But this is no mere meteor. It’s an alien probe designed to capture life; specifically female life.

Abducted and placed on sale in an alien slave market. Alice soon discovers the pleasures of being a captive in the arms of the sexiest alien man she’s ever laid eyes on.

Kerr, high commander of Kelon warriors raids a slaver station only to find a small human treasure he want to keep as his own.
